Family Pics

We had family pics done in June and they turned out amazing.  We had them done by Nichole Crowly who does Lazy C Photography and I would reccommend her to anyone.  We will definitely be using her again.

These are just some of our favorites.  There are so many that it's hard to choose which ones to put on here.

Happy Birthday!

Tyson turned 6 on the 14th of this month (and he also started kindergarten this year).  I can't believe how fast time goes by, it's amazing how much he's grown and how smart he is.  We got him a new bike, it's kind of like the old school big wheels but all souped up.  You get going on it and then you stop peddaling and turn the handle bars and you can spin around in circles.  He loves it.  We also had a pinata for him and all of the kids had a great time trying to break it open.

Have to love those trick candles.

Happy Anniversary

Cody & my's 5th anniversary was on August 1st.  Unfortunately I was gone to Pennsylvania so we didn't get to spend it together but when I got back he bought me this gorgeous diamond ring that I absolutely love.  It's missing a stone right now so we're getting that fixed but when I get it back I'll post a picture.  I feel like crap because I didn't get him anything, I guess I'll have to make it up next year.

Soccer

The kids are playing soccer this year and Tyson is loving it, Kaitlyn, not so much.  They usually rotate players in and out and as soon as Kaitlyn gets sat out she refuses to play anymore so Tyson usually ends up playing the whole game and he gets so tired.  His coache's husband is always cheering him on and Tyson feels so special, he tells me all the time "that guy tells me that I'm doing a good job."  I've learned that he is extremely competitive when it comes to sports, and an occasional ball hog but he has fun and he's learning how to work with a team and it's fun to watch him.

Pennsylvania/Niagara Falls

So back in August, my work sent me to Pennsylvania to train some of our staff there. We spent most of our time working but we did get to go to Niagara Falls one day. I can't believe how beautiful water can be. It's so cool to see the water coming over, they have tours that you can do that will take you down to the falls and back behind them but we didn't do any of that.

T-Ball

Tyson and Katie did T-ball this summer and they had a blast.  It was so fun to watch them get better with each game.  Tyson has a pretty good arm, he was throwing the ball clear across the field.  Katie was more interested in playing in the dirt and grass then playing the game but she did have fun and towards the end she started to get more interested in things.

Preschool Graduation

Tyson and Kaitlyn graduated preschool in May.  Tyson is actually graduated-he goes to Kindergarten this fall but Kaitlyn has one more year.  They had so much fun this year, their teacher was amazing and I would recommend her to anyone.  If she could handle Katie she can handle any child.

They pretty much just sang songs the whole time so all of my pictures look alike but then they got their diplomas and they were so excited.  It was fun to watch and especially see how much Kaitlyn had changed and learned.

Braxton's Birthday

I can't believe my baby is already 2, I can't really call him a baby anymore.  We just had a little party at our house and then we took the kids to the zoo and the aquarium in Salt Lake.

 Blowing out the candles!

Monster Jam 2011

We took the kids to the Monster Jam at the Energy Solutions Arena around the beginning of February.  They were really excited about all week before we went and then when we got there before the first hour was over they wanted to leave.  It was kind of boring at first I have to admit so I don't blame them, but I think they were glad that we stayed.  They got to see a jet powered four-wheeler (that's what the video is but phone didn't do very good in the dark).  They saw snowmobiles doing different tricks (they thought it was really cool when one of them did a complete backflip, I didn't think he was actually going to land it but he did).  I think their favorite part was seeing 2 monster trucks wreck.

Grandpa Ray

I should have done this post a long time ago.  Grandpa Ray is the sweetest old man I know, he tells the best stories & has the biggest heart I have ever seen.  He accepted me into the family even when others didn't.  My kids love him so much, they always talk about Grandpa Ray and how much fun they have when they go visit him.  He hasn't been doing too well lately and I just hope that he knows how much we all love him.
