Cody's New Toy

Happy Birthday Katie!

Kaitlyn turned 4 this year.  It's so crazy how fast time goes once you have kids.  She's such a smart little girl and I can't believe how fast she learns new things.  At school they're learning Christmas songs for a program they are going to have so I've heard Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer more times than I can count in the last week.  It's so cute to hear her sing it.

Cutest Kids Ever!!!

I love these guys so much.  Doesn't Tyson look JUST like Cody in this picture????

Haloween

My kids love Halloween, probably because of all the candy, what kid wouldn't?  Braxton just wanted to eat the candy and not wear his hat but I was able to get him to leave it on for a couple of pictures.

Tyson's Birthday

My baby isn't a baby anymore, that's such a sad thought.  Tyson turned 5 this year and I can't believe how much he's changed.  He's so smart and I have no idea where he comes up with some of his stuff.  He makes me so proud, he's such a good kid (most of the time) and he loves to help me no matter what I'm doing.  He amazes me every day, he had to have 2 more teeth pulled recently and our dentist gives tokens to the kids whenever they come in.  Well Tyson talked him into giving him 4 tokens when he pulled his teeth and when he went to get his prizes he made sure he got something for his sister and he wanted to get his brother something but they didn't have anything that he wouldn't choke on so the nurses gave Tyson a special toy to give to Braxton.  I love that he thinks of his brother and sister all the time.  Even when he has to go to the eye doctor and they don't come with us, he makes sure that he talks them into giving him extra treats to take to his brother and sister.  What a sweetie.  I love you, Tyson.

Random Summer pics

Here are some random pics from this summer.  My grandma and aunt came to visit us from Pennsylvania and even though I had to work we still found time to do things.  We haven't seen them for almost 4 years so it was nice to be able to visit.  Sorry for the picture overload but it's been a while since I've updated.

Fishing

We took the kids fishing a couple of weekends ago and it was a lot of fun.  Tyson loved it, he didn't mind sitting on by the water holding his pole while he waited for a fish.  Kaitlyn on the other hand, has a VERY short attention span, we no longer got her line in the water and she was already carrying her pole and walking around the car and over by Cody, she had he line strung all over the shore.  Braxton did not enjoy it at all and I think we'll wait a while before we take him again.  Tyson caught his first fish (on Cody's pole) and he was so excited, it was so cute to watch him reel it in.

Birthday

My baby boy is 1 now, I can't believe how fast that year went by.  I took him in for his 1 year check up and he weighed 20 pounds.  He had to have his toe poked to check his iron and he also had 2 shots, he didn't even cry-such a trooper.  We had Andrea Harper make his cake and it was awesome I highly recommend her.

Preschool Graduation

Tyson graduated from preschool this year, except he'll have to go again because he doesn't meet the cutoff for kindergarten.  He's learned so much and he teaches it to Kaitlyn so she's also learned quite a bit.  It's so sad to see them growing up but it's exciting at the same time.

Updates

I can't believe that Braxton is almost a year old already.  He's walking now and really getting into everything.  I'll post more about him after his birthday.  Probably the biggest news is Kaitlyn's haircut, it took me forever to talk Cody into letting me cut it.  Her hair was just so straight and thin and I'm not that good with hairstyles and stuff so all I could ever do was put it in ponytails.  I still can't do much with it but at least it's all even now and has a little bit of a style to it, she loves her "princess haircut."

Easter

Tyson and Katie were a little spoiled this year, Cody went a little over board this year, they got a trampoline and Kaitlyn got a scooter.  She's always wanting to ride on Tyson's 4 wheeler so we decided it was time to get her something of her own.  Braxton didn't get much but he didn't care anyway, he just wanted to play with the plastic eggs we hid around the house.  Since we woke up to snow covering the ground we hid eggs in the house for the second year in a row, it's a good thing they're still little so we don't have to make it very hard yet.

They love their trampoline, it was too windy to put on the safety net so once we get that on I will feel a little more comfortable

Kaitlyn doesn't want Braxton to touch any of her stuff from the Easter Bunny, sometimes she's a little stingy, guess she really is a lot like me.

Looking for eggs, it took Kaitlyn a little while to stop following Tyson around and start looking on her own.

They all got swimming suits, thanks to Toni for this idea, now I get to hear "when can we go swimming?" everyday, how will I ever repay you?

Our little princess on her princess scooter, she was so excited to get this, she makes me very nervous when she's on it, she doesn't have very good control, especially when she backs up.

They seemed to have been very happy with the day overall and they played outside most of the time so not only were they very tired that night, my house was still clean!

Random pics of the kids, they are such little cheesers, and little miss Kaitlyn has to be the center of attention, I was trying to get one of the two boys and she just jumped right in front of them.  Also, I love my new couch, now if I could just keep my children from jumping on it so it stays nice.
