Better Late Than Never, Right?

OK, so I'm not very good at updating but with 3 VERY energetic kids and a full time job there really isn't much time.  So, here's what we've been up to lately.

1ST DEER

This year Cody talked me into getting a deer tag.  At first I didn't want to but once we went out it was kind of fun.  You really do get an adrenaline rush too when you see one.  Anyway here is a picture of my first deer, I guess it's my turn to brag about it since everyone else seems to do it for me.

KAITLYN'S BIRTHDAY

Kaitlyn turned 3 this year and she was so excited, she couldn't wait for her birthday to get here.  I don't know if she was more excited about Tinkerbell on her cake or the presents, but either way she had a great time.

THANKSGIVING

All of my brother's came out for Thanksgiving this year, which was kind of fun because I don't really get to see the two older ones.  My mom cooks a big dinner and since my house is bigger than her's everyone comes to mine.

HALLOWEEN

This year Halloween was really fun with Tyson and Kaitlyn, they actually understood what was going on and besides Kaitlyn whining about having to walk a little bit, they had a lot of fun. This was Braxton's first Halloween so he rode in the car with me the whole time but he looked really cute as a monkey.

School

Tyson absolutely loves going to school, he asks me everyday if it's time to go yet. last week they went to the corn maze and it looks like they had a lot of fun. It started raining on them so they weren't able to feed the goats and I guess Tyson was a little sad about it. Here are some pictures I stole from his teacher's facebook.

It's Off To Work We Go!!

Cody started back to work on the 12th. I'm so glad, I don't know how much longer I could have handled him at home. His hands have been swollen and he's been pretty sore and tired but other than that it seems to be going pretty good. I'm so greatful that he CAN go back to work, we worried about it for a while, he didnt' seem like he had enough strength in that hand to do the things he needed to do but so far, so good.

Tyson's 4th Birthday

On September 14, Tyson turned 4 (and Cody turned 31). Tyson was so excited, it was all he talked about for weeks. Cody wouldn't let me buy a $70 dollar cake this year so we settled for something a little less fancy, Tyson loved it.

My Baby's Growing Up

Tyson is now 4 years old and he is in preschool, it's so sad for me. He loves it and he gets so excited on the days that he goes, he can't wait to get there. He's only been a week but I can't believe that he is already learning so much, he comes home singing new songs that I had forgotten I new. It's amazing how fast time goes by.

Cody's Progress

Cody has been doing physical therapy for about 3 weeks now, the therapist said that he could probably go back to work in about 2 weeks, YAY. I love the man with all my heart but he is driving me CRAZY. He has never had to stay home this long for anything and it's driving both of us nuts. Anyway, here is what his hand looks like now.

This has taught us to not take anything for granted. I think that it has brought us closer together as a family and Cody and I personally. We realize how lucky we are and know that someone is looking out for us. If the gun had been pointed just a little more to the left Cody could have lost his whole hand or we could have lost Tyson. It just goes to show how when you're too comfortable with something it can all go wrong in an instant. I love my family so much and I realize how close I came to losing part of it.

Braxton has been eating so much that we've started feeding him cereal. He gets so excited when he knows it's time to eat, he starts grinning and talking.

Update

I can't believe how fast the kids are growing, we took Braxton in last week for his 2 month check up and he weighed 11 pounds 13 ounces, he has been our biggest baby out of the three, maybe it's because all he ever does is eat. Tyson is also going to start preschool this year, he's so excited, he asks me everyday if it's time for him to go to school yet. Kaitlyn is still her drama queen self, she gets jealous if Braxton gets more attention than her but she still loves him and likes to hold him, she's not ready to let anyone take him away yet.

Time Flies

It seems like just yesterday I was doing the same thing with Tyson and Kaitlyn.
Here are some new pictures of Braxton and my two favorite little helpers. Not the best pictures of Braxton but Tyson and Kaitlyn were just too cute to pass this moment up, who knows how many more I'll get.

We went in last week for his 2 week check-up and he weighed 8 pounds and was 20 inches long, so far everything looks good. He still sleeps a lot but he stays awake longer between feedings. I can't believe he's already going to be a month old. I'm so not ready to go back to work.

Father & Son Camping Trip

A couple of weeks ago Tyson and Cody went on a father and son camping trip with our ward. Tyson had a lot of fun and wanted Cody to take pictures of him doing all kinds of different things, here are a few of them.

IT'S A BOY!!

He's finally here, baby Braxton James was born on May 26, 2009 at 1:10 P.M. He weighed 6 lbs 13 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. I'm so glad that it's finally over, now I can breathe normally again. He's been such a good baby, he hardly ever cries, just fusses a little bit and only gets up 2-3 times at night.

Tyson is really excited, he likes to hold him and he tries to be helpful. Kaitlyn thinks he's a new doll, she tries to help too and likes to hold him but she tells everyone that she doesn't want him. Pictures to come as soon as I download them.

Delivery Time (Almost)

I can't believe how fast these last 9 months have flown by. We are scheduled to go in on Tuesday, May 26 and have our 3rd baby. Even though we've been through this 2 other times it's still just as exciting, maybe it's because I'm starting to get anxious about what it is. Now I'm starting to get paranoid that my child will be born without a name because I thought that I had plenty of time to pick out names and now I'm down to about 2 weeks and we have nothing picked out yet.

Bowling

Last weekend we took the kids bowling, they had so much fun. Kaitlyn would roll the ball and then try to chase it down the lane, it was funny to watch her. Tyson thought it was cool to watch the ball knock the pins down, he even got a couple of strikes, he really thought that was neat. Sorry that the pictures are blurry but I only had my phone and it really doesn't take good pictures.
