Easter

Tyson and Katie were a little spoiled this year, Cody went a little over board this year, they got a trampoline and Kaitlyn got a scooter.  She's always wanting to ride on Tyson's 4 wheeler so we decided it was time to get her something of her own.  Braxton didn't get much but he didn't care anyway, he just wanted to play with the plastic eggs we hid around the house.  Since we woke up to snow covering the ground we hid eggs in the house for the second year in a row, it's a good thing they're still little so we don't have to make it very hard yet.

They love their trampoline, it was too windy to put on the safety net so once we get that on I will feel a little more comfortable

Kaitlyn doesn't want Braxton to touch any of her stuff from the Easter Bunny, sometimes she's a little stingy, guess she really is a lot like me.

Looking for eggs, it took Kaitlyn a little while to stop following Tyson around and start looking on her own.

They all got swimming suits, thanks to Toni for this idea, now I get to hear "when can we go swimming?" everyday, how will I ever repay you?

Our little princess on her princess scooter, she was so excited to get this, she makes me very nervous when she's on it, she doesn't have very good control, especially when she backs up.

They seemed to have been very happy with the day overall and they played outside most of the time so not only were they very tired that night, my house was still clean!

Random pics of the kids, they are such little cheesers, and little miss Kaitlyn has to be the center of attention, I was trying to get one of the two boys and she just jumped right in front of them.  Also, I love my new couch, now if I could just keep my children from jumping on it so it stays nice.

Cursed?

Cody thinks we might be cursed, or at least this house and here's his reasoning.  We bought this house in October of 2008 then in January of 2009 I had to have an emergency appendectomy, April of 2009 Cody had gall bladder surgery, then we had Braxton in May (that's not a bad thing we're just going down the line here).  August 2009 Cody lost his finger, then we had a break until January of this year.  Kaitlyn fell off the couch and had this huge goose egg on her forehead a couple of weeks ago and now Tyson fell over the 15 foot high wall railing thing on our stairs, he's fine, his back was sore for a couple days.  Is there really anything else that can happen (knock on wood)?  Cody thinks we need to sell before something worse happens, but I wonder if we were meant to buy it so that we could have the support we've had from our ward.  I don't think we could have made it through any of it without them, what do you think?

Crafts

So, anyone that knows me knows that I didn't get the craft gene, I would prefer to buy something already done than do it myself because I would have to redo it so many times it would end up costing me more.  Anyway, before Christmas one of the girls I work with had this party where we painted these frames and put these temple pictures in them, I was terrified that I would mess it up but it actually turned out pretty good.  It's not a very good picture of the picture but it looks really pretty above my fireplace.

The thought of a 4 year old

As I'm waiting to go to work this morning Tyson and I have this conversation, keep in mind that Braxton is only 7 months old.

Tyson: Mommy, you need a new baby.
Me: Why?
Tyson: Cause I don't like this one (points to Braxton)
Me: Why?
Tyson: I just don't, no, you need to have another one.
Me: Why?
Tyson: Cause we need 2 babies like him (points to Braxton)
Me: I think we need to wait until Braxton gets a little older.
Tyson: Oh, Ok

Where do they come up with this stuff?

How Cute!

Kaitlyn and Tyson are now both in primary so when we came home from church yesterday the sang church songs all day.  Their favorite is I Am A Child Of God, it's so cute to listen to them, they get some of the words mixed up but for the most part they do pretty good.  Kaitlyn's other favorite song is Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam, only she sings Jesus wants me for a sunbean, it's so cute to watch her and she loves showing off.
